K-pop’s Red Velvet announce long-awaited comeback with ‘Queendom’ album with celebrating seven year.
On August 2 SM entertainment announced the release date of Red velvet New mini Album "Queendom".
Red Velvet are K-pop Girl group debut in 2014 with their single "happiness" they were only four girls Irene, Wendy, Seulgi and Joy and after that a yeri Joined them to be five girls and release their second debut single "Ice cream cake".
The last album of Red Velvet was The ReVe Festival: Finale which was released in December 2019. It contain a lot hits like "Zimzalabim,” "Umpah Umpah,” and “Psycho.” Although the girls didn’t release any albums in 2020, they dropped few OST like “Future,” that was featured K-drama Start-Up, and “Just Sing,” which was part of the Trolls World Tour OST. In 2021 SM entertainment announced solo debut of Wendy with "Like Water" album and joy solo debut with "Hello" album.

Queendom Album Versions
The album will come with two versions "the Girls" version and "the Queens" version.
The “Girls” version of the album will come with a coral case, a lyrics book, CD, folded poster, poster, postcard, envelope, sticker set, special card, and a photocard.
the “Queens” version will come with a dust jacket, photobook, CD, envelope, portrait card, postcard, bookmark, poster, and a photocard.
Queendom Album Achievements
On August 16, the K-pop Girl group released their sixth mini album “Queendom” and the music video of the lead track "Queendom"
After the album’s release, “Queendom” it topped iTunes Top Albums charts in 50 regions around the globe including the United States, Canada, the Netherlands, Norway, United Arab Emirates, Spain, Singapore, Cambodia, Egypt, Brunei, Malaysia, Thailand, Kazakhstan, Paraguay, Bolivia, Oman, Russia, Greece, Vietnam, Mongolia, Sri Lanka, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Brazil, Guatemala, Poland, Slovenia, Chile, France, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Laos, Costa Rica, Colombia, Romania, Hungary, the Philippines, Japan, Ukraine, Hong Kong, India, Lebanon, Turkey, Taiwan, Mexico, Israel, Australia, New Zealand, Peru, and Indonesia.
And also the new album ranked No. 1 on the digital album sales charts for China’s QQ Music and KuGou Music. Title track “Queendom” also topped No. 1 on music streaming sites such as Genie, Bugs, Vibe.
